High Protein Anti-Inflammatory

Eating in a caloric deficit is a goal, but I can’t say that it’s helping with my energy levels.

Eating out is going to be really difficult. I may have to take food with me when we’re out and about.

My doctor said the diet is so strict that a lot of people only follow it about 70%. I’m not entirely sure what she meant by that, but she said it twice. I didn’t think I’d find myself having issues but I cheated a little with a Chick-fil-A wrap and 8 grilled nuggets. I tore off 90% of the wrap but there was a small amount of cheese.

It was 790 calories for both and a WHOPPING 81 grams of protein. I usually eat half a wrap but I made myself eat it all bc that’s amazing to get that much protein in. If I’m gonna eat out, I will do that again. I had no obvious reaction.

Their grilled nuggets are better than the fried ones. I love that they put them in a cup too. I added a vinaigrette and tossed them. Fantastic.

Say what you want about CF being overrated, but they do have healthier food options. Their Market (power) Salad is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I just can’t have it right now bc of the aged cheese and nuts.

Dinner Tonight: Chicken thighs with Paleo seasoning and sweet potatoes with maple syrup and cinnamon.

460 calories for 2 thighs and a half potato. 31 grams of protein. Not bad!
