I don’t. 🤷🏼‍♀️

How do you manage screen time for yourself?

I don’t really… I’m a fairly productive person so I usually can balance it.

I have times I’m lazy and I stay on my phone too long, but I don’t generally have to manage myself. Yesterday I was online a LOT, but I was checking the election news and talking to a lot of my friends on fb and today will likely be the same!

You can appear really active on social media but spend a lot less time on there than people who never say anything. 😂 I know this for a fact. I have a lot of lurker friends. I hop on sporadically through the day and post something funny or something that’s on my mind but then I’m back to whatever I’m doing. One thing that helps is that I try not to play too much music or YouTube on my tablet or phone. I play music through my home hub speakers and we stream YouTube through our TV, so in other words.. I can have a podcast on but still be doing stuff I need to do in the house, so I don’t just sit and stare at my iPad or phone. Last night I had TCN streaming on all 5 of our TV’s watching the election while I was busy doing things.

I also get ocular migraines, so that really limits the time I can just stare into a screen. I hate the way I feel when I’ve spent too much time on a computer. It almost makes me feel ill.

And having said that, it’s time to get my kids to school! Once I do that, I’ll spend a little time on X seeing the aftermath of the election, and then I’m off to start my Christmas shopping. 🛍️
