What are you most proud of in your life?

My marriage and my precious children.

Hands down. There’s nothing I could ever do on this earth that could bring me more joy or pleasure than my family.

There aren’t any perfect marriages, but I can say with all honestly that we rarely ever fight or argue, and we enjoy our life together. I feel confident that they are seeing how partners should treat one another. Theres a lot of respect between us. There’s also a lot of fun and laughter in our home and I’m thankful for that too. Our home feels like love. 💗

Despite that deep love, I still went through a hard phase when my kids started school because I mourned and grieved them being babies and toddlers. It broke my heart how quickly it went, but I can say that I have loved them madly at all of their ages, and we have so much fun now that they’ve matured some. I still miss them when they’re at school. I love summer and breaks. I genuinely miss them when they aren’t here. They’re clever, and witty, and absolute pranksters (thanks to their Dad) but they’re also respectful and well behaved kids.

I realize they’re young and that could change as they become teenagers, but I think it’s just kind of who they are. Norah is just sweet. She’s compassionate, kind and goofy. Gage is very reserved but VERY witty and logical. He’s quiet but he’s deeply sensitive.

They’re good kids. I don’t ever have to worry that they’re going to misbehave or cause problems. They truly respect adults, but they are also not shy or unable to speak up for themselves (to us or anyone else). We have always encouraged them to use their voices and I love that the most about them.

So yeah, that’s what I’m most proud of. 🤍
