Whiskey Pecan Pie Recipe
Yields: 8 servings Prep time: 20 minutes Cook time: 50-60 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp of your favorite whiskey or bourbon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare pie crust: Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie pan. Crimp the edges as desired.
- Combine filling ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, whiskey and salt.
- Add pecans: Stir in the chopped pecans until well combined.
- Pour filling: Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Cool: Let the pie cool completely before serving.
