Whiskey Pecan Pie Recipe

Yields: 8 servings Prep time: 20 minutes Cook time: 50-60 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp of your favorite whiskey or bourbon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare pie crust: Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie pan. Crimp the edges as desired.
  • Combine filling ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, whiskey and salt.
  • Add pecans: Stir in the chopped pecans until well combined.
  • Pour filling: Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  • Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  • Cool: Let the pie cool completely before serving.

Enjoy! Serve your pecan pie warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
