We slept in a little after the kids got to school this morning. That was soooo nice! Our snuggling and talking turned into an hour hard nap. That’s always the best sleep! Then we got up and took a quick trip out to a local farm in Jay.

We decided to invest in buying 1/2 a cow. It’s enough meat for about 8-9 months for a family of 4. The price for a full cow was very reasonable since it’s packaged and butchered, but we aren’t willing to add another freezer in the garage. We already have a fridge, deep freeze and pantry shelves. We don’t want half of that space to be food storage. I’m glad we got it ordered, and hopefully it’ll prove to be worth it.

We also got on the list for our Pygmy goats!! The kids are going to be so excited. ☺️☺️☺️ We didn’t see any of them, but we got to see some photos.

We did meet Donkey Dan though. 🤣
