I was going to decorate for fall today, but… I don’t really wanna.

I’m probably going to be super minimal this year with decorating. Gary likes most things fall, but he absolutely hates Halloween. He won’t even let the kids have anything with skulls on them. Gage wanted a jacket that had a skull on it and he would not buy it, and he hated Harper’s costume last year too. He thinks it’s really morbid and weird to worship death and he’s actually a lot more conservative than I am about some things. He even threw out my skeleton a few years ago. 🤣🤣🤣 He said it was broken but he hated that thing. He thinks Halloween decor is cheesy and tacky, but that’s what I kinda like about it. It’s the holiday where you can do that! 🤣 Funny how I’ve become less that way and he’s become more.

So yeah, he HATES my Halloween decorations but I think I’m gonna let him win this year and only do fall and harvest. Mostly because the kids are older and don’t really care that much about it anyway. To me it’s mostly about the smells, tastes and warm lighting. As long as I have that I’m happy. My Scentsy girl LOVES me this time of year. 🤣🤣🤣
