I’m sorry for all the long winded personal posts. Actually, I don’t really know why I’m apologizing, it’s my blog. If you don’t want to read it, you are not forced to be here. ☺️
I love to look back and see posts about life and see how much things have changed. This morning there was a post from when we were living in our tiny apartment in Ocean Springs and we were so excited that Gary had started working at USMI and my Mom had just been diagnosed with her Myelofibrosis. Wow, that seems like soooo long ago. I was pregnant with Gage. Gosh, I wish my Mama could be here to see these kids and how much they’ve grown. 😭
Anyway, on a subject this blog is more intended for… I spent a few hours with my neighbor this morning and she’s really into making Kombucha, so I’m thinking about starting a batch out of curiosity. I heard that if you make it close to your sourdough starter it will actually form a scoby IN the sourdough starter from being so close to the kombucha. That’s kinda gross. 🤣 I’m not eating a scoby out of the kombucha either. That’s just too far. Ewwww. But I’m really considering trying it. I’ve got everything I need for it… I just don’t know if I need another time consuming hobby or if I could stomach the process. I’m gonna read more about it and sleep on it.
